Offmarket is a private registry for intended career moves in the luxury industry. We collect only what we need to review access, manage referrals, operate member access, and make introductions when both people agree.

Who controls the data

Offmarket is an early private project. It is not attached to a company yet. For privacy requests, contact margot@moveoffmarket.com.

What we collect

We may collect your name, email address, LinkedIn profile, current role, maison, business group, city, move timing, referral details, permanent-contract attestation, privacy-policy acceptance, profile status, login events, email delivery events, and messages you send to us.

Why we use it

We use this data to review access, ask a referrer to approve a file, maintain the member registry, send access links and operational emails, identify possible matches, prevent misuse, and keep an audit trail of important actions.

Who sees it

Your name and employer are not shown on the public site. Referral approval emails include the email address of the person asking for access. Match notes are anonymous until both people say yes. We use service providers such as Supabase, Vercel, and Resend to run the site, database, authentication, hosting, and email delivery.

How long we keep it

We keep profile, referral, and audit data while your profile is active, on the waitlist, or needed to operate Offmarket. You can ask us to delete your data. We may keep limited records when needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data. You can exercise those rights by emailing margot@moveoffmarket.com. If you are in the European Union, you may also contact your local data protection authority.

Automation

Offmarket may use software to help structure profile information and identify possible matches, but no introduction is made unless both people agree.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and, when appropriate, notify members by email.
